ETDE’s infrastructure arm specialises in communications, CCTV and highway lighting – with experience in capital projects on motorway and major trunk road networks.

 

We deliver technically-advanced infrastructure systems for a number of industries including highways, rail, airside and telecommunications. Our client portfolio is based on considerable experience of working with local and national authorities, the Highways Agency, Transport for London (TfL) and many county, metropolitan borough and district councils.

 

Telecommunications infrastructure

ETDE undertakes complete turnkey projects from network installation to commissioning, testing, cabling, jointing and splicing of conventional, multi-core and fibre optic systems. In support of these complex operations, we can install all associated ducting, chambers, cabinets, feeder pillars as well as the construction of transmission stations.

 

CCTV

ETDE has been involved in some of the most technologically-advanced CCTV projects in the UK. We have the expertise, and track record, to fully design, build and maintain CCTV systems for a range of locations including the UK highway network.

 

We have a wide range of camera experience, covering time and distance speed monitoring systems with nationwide coverage for temporary and permanent installations. Prime examples of this type of contract are the M25 DBFO fully digital system and the M1 J10-13 wireless system.

 

Highway lighting

ETDE can cover all highway lighting projects, installation and maintenance, specialising in the larger capital schemes on motorways and trunk roads whether working for the Highways Agency, TfL or in partnership with their main contractor partners.

 

We recently worked as main contractor on the A406 Bounds Green Relighting Project (Transport for London), Stratford High Street Regeneration Project (ultimate client – London  Borough of Newham) and the A1 Blackcat Lighting Project (the Highways Agency).
