ETDE FM launches in CanadaETDE Facility Management Canada, part of the international Group Ecovert, has launched its presence in Canada and moved into its offices in Surrey, British Columbia (BC).
The offices in Greater Vancouver, are the company’s base for its first Public Private Partnership (PPP) project to finance, design, build and operate the new Outpatient Facility in Surrey, the first of its kind in BC.
Construction of the Outpatient Facility started in September 2008 and it will become operational by spring of 2011. ETDE FM Canada will partner with Fraser Health Authority to deliver hard FM, lifecycle and helpdesk services together with domestic, waste management and car parking services over the next 30 years to the new facility.
CEO of Ecovert Group, Bruno Bodin says “We are delighted to be fully operational in the Canadian market, which is embracing the PPP/PFI model as an effective way to improve public services. We look forward to sharing our PPP experience and working with our partners to meet the demands of the fast-growing Fraser Valley region with this major and welcome addition to its healthcare infrastructure."
The company has plans to further develop its activity in BC as well as Ontario.

ETDE Facility Management Canadais the newly formed company from which Ecovert Group has launched its presence in Canada. The Joint Venture company, ETDE FM HSO, set up between Ecovert FM and Helios Group, will deliver the FM services for a 30-year period to the Surrey Outpatient Facility from 2011.
BCHS Healthcare (Surrey) Limited Partnership, the consortium’s Special Purpose Vehicle, is made up of ETDE, Bouygues Bâtiment International and HSBC Infrastructure Fund Management. It is delivering the design, construction and financing in addition to the hard and soft FM services to the Surrey Outpatient Facility.
