We are delighted to announce that Ecovert FM has been awarded the 2009 Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents Gold Award for Occupational Health & Safety.
To obtain the gold award, Ecovert FM needed to show evidence of:
•excellent H&S management systems and culture (e.g. strong audit results and achievement of OHSAS 18001)
•a rigorous approach to occupational health
•high levels of compliance with control measuresfor principal risks
•below average and reducing rates of error (e.g. near misses),harm (accidents and work-related ill health) and loss (e.g. accident and ill health costs)
•no fatal or major injuries due to employer negligence
•no significant enforcement issues (e.g. notices/prosecutions)
The achievement of this award is relevant more than ever this year - 2009 - the Year of Health & Safety for Ecovert FM and its parent company, ETDE.
